The WantedDesign platform, held at the end of this month in New York City during NYCxDesign, is currently a hotspot in the design world where the international community of creators can show off its most outstanding work. Since it was first held in 2011, it has been the foremost event of its kind in the world. Talks, exhibitions, installations and discussions make for a creative environment that provides the perfect promotional platform for emerging and new designers.

This year the features the Ventura New York: The Dutch Edition exhibition, in which 17 of the most brilliant and talented designers from Holland present work under the heading Human Nature.

In this exhibition, the various works will respond to the successive formal changes that have occurred in the modern world, with human beings as protagonist and author. Fears and aspirations that the designers themselves experience in the face of the social and cultural changes that take place in the sphere of design, in which tradition, self-production, manual work and new materials have much to say.
