Norwegian designer Hallgeir Homstvledt had intended to design a scooter, but when the ideas started to mix around in his head, he ended up designing this stool. It’s light, easy to put together, stackable, and doesn’t take up much space.
What looks like a sort of bench with a wooden back rest is designed by IA Kutateladze and was actually inspired by the metallic tables of the industrial era. The piece works as a desk and is an attempt by the designer to create the aesthetic and structural details of that style in a new material.
